Electronic Career Portfolio

This video provides a brief overview of investment banking as a whole, and the types of work that investment bankers take part in. The four main areas are Capital Markets, M&A, Sales & Trading, and Asset Management. I hope to eventually in the Mergers & Acquisitions area as I think it would be incredibly interesting to learn more about the details behind huge deals that are happening, as companies that I've grown up hearing about are being combined. Though a negative side of the job is the long hours, this video explains how young employees still find it appealing because of the large opportunity to learn that it provides.
